Click here to view a printable PDF version Dear Employer:
I started programming at the age of ten when I discovered a freeware version of QBasic on my father's computer. I knew immediately that I had found my calling. Since then, I have completed my B.S. in computer science and moved into C and then C++.
My experience as technical support, network administrator, and web designer give me well-rounded technical experience. My 4 years in the United States Army has solidified my ability to work with a team, maintain company confidentiality, and strengthened my own high work ethic.
Currently, I seek a full-time position as a Software Engineer. I look forward to bringing my knowledge and enthusiasm to your company.
Sincerely, Travis Haapala
